Hi, my name is Mick Champion, my interest in the paranormal started many years ago, I guess my first encounter was as a small child when I was approximately three years old and I was sat on my mother’s knee at home when suddenly I turned to her and asked who was the lady standing by the door, needless to say I scared the living daylights out of her as she could see nothing.
From that point I have had countless encounters throughout my life which naturally led to me taking it a step further in later years to actually investigating haunted places and events to try to get some answers, and after years of investigations I have come to the conclusion that these things actually exist and that the soul survives death, and in most cases move on to the next plain of existence, but for some they seem to remain on this Earth for whatever reason, and some come back on occasion to visit loved ones.
I still take a sceptical point of view and try to rationalise events that occur, if there is a cold spot is there a draft that is causing it, a flash of light, is it a reflection from someone’s torch or from outside the building, when investigating you have to stand back and eliminate the obvious to get to the truth of the matter.
Without a doubt the strangest event is when I get an E.V.P ( Electronic voice phenomenon ) recording which seems to be something I get a lot of and it is absolute proof to me of the existence of spirits as these voices are not coming from any member of the group as I would be the first to ask them to keep quiet, I have recorded a few investigations now and whenever I ask if there are any spirits present I nearly always get a response, sometimes they swear at me and sometimes I get an intelligent reply as happened at Falstaff’s when we seemed to be in contact with a woman named Janie, I asked if she was happy there, and she replied (with attitude I might add ), “ huh, I’m still here “, that told me didn’t it.
I know the sceptics among you will say that these recordings have been edited, but please believe me when I say they have not and that they are absolutely genuine, come with me at some time and I will prove it to you first hand, if you dare.
